Jetlag : 9 hours
23 hours in the plane and a stop in Malaysia, but now I'm here.
Everything in english. I've heard a few words in french, but not as much as in London or New-York, so it's OK.
First week in Sydney, the second one in Canbera.
Yesterday, for the first day in Sydney, I had a walk in the center to discover some places. I am glad to see Cana and to meet her parents. I live there for the first week. And thanks to them, I went to the opera and saw "La traviata". If you know it, you probably know it's a good choice. The stage was on the water and, behind the stage, we could see the opera and the famous Harbor bridge on sunset. Emotion is back ! The production was very good and it was beautiful.
If you wanna have an idea of that event, you can see an overview on this link http://www.operaonsydneyharbour.com.au/video.html
Sydney is a very beautiful town and its reputation is well deserved. There are a lot of harbors and bays. It's very beautiful, and I've seen it only one day. For those who may be afraid, the city seems safe. If you wanna cross a street on a pedestrian way, cars stop and wait patiently.
